The best social PR Secret? Buy this book.

I read marketing books with a highlighter in case I find anything that I didn't already know or could use in my business or with my clients. I count myself lucky if I get 1 or 2 good tips per chapter.

In this book, I got (on average) 2-3 good, actionable tips PER PAGE.

(I am an Internet marketing professional since 1996 focused mainly on the SEO side of things. I am the author of Drupal 6 SEO which you can find here on Amazon.)

Those are my highlights from one chapter.

I have just as many more from most chapters. As a digital marketer, I already knew some of that stuff but never expressed in quite the way that Ms. Buyer says it or seen those ideas put together in quite the way that she does.

In short, it's a "Must Buy". Short, easy to read, lot's to apply. Anyone interested can pick up some great tips.

An amazing resource, guide and asset to have as a Social Media Manger

An amazing resource, guide and asset to have as a Social Media Manger. Social PR Secrets breaks down anything and everything you need to know (and didn't know that you needed to know) about social media! The book is easy to follow, and I love how each chapter is broken out by platform. She gives you an amazing amount of information, in a way thats easy to digest, and even easier to translate into your workflow. I work in the health/wellness space and can see this book being an asset for any marketing/PR professional, in any industry. Her Pinterest chapter has been specifically beneficial to my company, and has allowed me to open my eyes to the real possibilities of social media growth, through a platform that I didn't have that much experience with. This book is covered in highlighter marks, pen marks and post-its.. and I wouldn't have it any other way! I hope to see more from Lisa in the future, and can't wait for her next book!

A definite must have for anyone that incorporates social media in their business! Lisa brilliantly explains how to use social media in order to have a positive impact of your business. She incorporates personal stories on how her tactics have worked for her in the past, and how she has turned a bad situation into a good learning experience. Social PR Secrets is not only informative, but also a great read! I highly recommend it!
