The object in question is the plant cannabis or more commonly known as Marijuana. As marijuana forces its way into the mainstream, voters are thrown into countless debates about the benefits and consequences of lifting the ban. The main argument in favor of lifting the ban is the simple fact that legalizing the drug will raise billions dollars in revenue for the government. I believe that American voters should pass a proposition to end the prohibition but also create strict regulations around the sale and use. Marijuana might not be a product that voters should encourage the use of, but at the same time, the benefits of the plant can help the American budget crisis exponentially.

Marijuana is the most commonly abused illegal drug in the United States. Currently, it sells for 300 to 400 dollars per ounce on the street. The drug is derived from the hemp plant Cannabis sativa. It can be identified by the green and brown mix of dry and shredded flowers, stems, seeds and leaves. Cannabis contains over 400 different chemicals but, Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, otherwise known as THC, is the main brain-altering chemical (Basic Facts About Drugs: Marijuana). The percentage of THC in the plant determines the potency of the drug. Ancient Assyrians were the first known users of marijuana, but an Israeli scientist was the first to identify the THC and it’s effects on the human body (Smith).

Just finished this a few weeks ago and I must recommend this book for anyone interested in this nations conflicts and military. This book covers the begining of this nation military to the most recent operations aganist terroist organization in this country. What I liked the most was this nation military conducting operation now along the board with Isreal. As part of a UN ceasr fire agreement between terroist organizations. After reading it would seem that the military of this nation is finally on track.

Unusually Clear

A very modern, persuasive interpretation on Qabala and the Tree of Life that leaves most others in the dust. Originally written in 1976, it doesn't feel at all dated when one reads it. The illustrations are very helpful. I've studied quantum physics in depth and esotericism throughout my life. Peering deeply into the foundations of being reveals mysteries and paradoxes that both esotericism and quantum physics seek to explain. Not so foolish as to say this resolves the mystery--but shines a bright light on it.

This is a truly amazing and enjoyable book. It gives some significant details about The Tree of Life, application and understanding of Hebrew and much, much more. For anyone who is exploring religion, science, the meaning of life and death, this is an incredible book!

Qabalah and a Quantum World

This book is great at presenting a very broad and far reaching interpretation of Qabalah in light of psychology and physics. I bought it in hopes of finding quantum physics concepts (ie scientific facts; what we can see without doubt) synced up with the very abstract system of the Qabalah. Specifically I wanted to see how our world could fit onto the tree of life glyph and what meanings someone farther along than me may have been afforded by doing this.

The author has condensed a broad interpretation into a relatively small amount of pages by using a wide variety of visual illustrations that proceed to deliver a cumulative view beyond words. For anyone seeking to use the Qabalah as a means to expand their view of how it all fits together and get an idea of what kinds of things are, for lack of a better word, unfolding, I cannot recommend this gem enough. The author admits his interpretation is just that, an interpretation, but damn, what an interpretation it is. I still read this book a chapter here a chapter there and mull it over to recognize and experience aspects of it in my life. Hope this helps.
